General information

It took the place of the old "Ion Moina" stadium and thus became the new home of Cluj University, being inaugurated in 2011. The first match was played when the University received the visit of Kuban Krasnodar in a demonstration match. With a capacity of 30,020 seats, the stadium is located approximately one kilometer away from the old city center, in the western part, near the Someșul Mic river and the Central Park. The distance from the old center to the stadium can be covered in about 15 minutes on foot.
